Suzanne & Ryan can't wait for their very first Akita. They've chosen Hiruko and his new name will be Makato's Kaibutsu Stryker. Kaibutsu means "monster". :) Pretty fitting at this point. hehe Still pretty fitting!

Baby #1 BOY Born at 9:35 a.m. 1/4/06 14 ozs at birth. He'll look just like his Daddy. He's got matching white socks on the front feet and matching white toes on the back. He's got a tiny white tip on his tail and some white on his chest that runs down his belly. Just like Daddy. He cruised around complaining for the first hour until I showed him the baabaas. Don't think he's stopped chowing since. :) We'll nickname him HIRUKO which means "Guardian of the Health of Children".

Baby #2 BOY Born at 11:30 a.m. 15 ozs. He's a Mama's boy. He's spotted. He'll be browns and tans and golds and white with a black mask. Just like his mama. His nose is white and he has a white tail except for the black dot on it. He also has a white dot and a stripe, like a lightening rod, on his back. Sooooo, we'll nickname him RAIDEN which translates to "God of Thunder and Lightening".

Baby #3 GIRL Born at 11:55 a.m. 13ozs. She's just like Daddy. She has matching white toes all the way around. She's the smallest in the litter and the sassiest. We'll call her BAKU which means "Good Spirit".

Baby #4 BOY Born at 1:40 p.m. I couldn't get him to breath. He's at Rainbow's Bridge. I named him Fudo after the god of wisdom.

Baby #5 GIRL Born at 3:15 p.m. 14 ozs. She's white and long and bossy. :) We'll nickname her SHINDA after the fertility god. Her new parents may want to breed her.

Baby #6 BOY Born at 9:10 p.m. White. I couldn't get him to wake up either. We'll name him Fujin for the god of wind. Fujin's at Rainbow's Bridge.

Baby #7 GIRL Born at 4:20 p.m. 1/5/06 White. I couldn't get her to wake up. Way too long in the birth canal. We'll name her Benten for the goddess of love. Benten's at the Bridge.

Baby #8 GIRL Born at 6:20 p.m. White. I couldn't get her to wake up. We'll name her Kojin for the goddess of trees. Kojin is at Rainbow's Bridge.

Baby #9 GIRL Born at 5:10 a.m. 1/6/06 White. I couldn't get her to wake up. We'll name her Inari for the goddess of agriculture. Inari is at Rainbow's Bridge.

Baby #10 GIRL Born at 7:45 a.m. She was spotted like her Mama. I couldn't get her to wake up. We'll name her Uba, the female spirit of the pine tree. Uba's is at Rainbow's Bridge.

Baku is the smallest and the sassiest. She weighed in at a whopping pound today. She'll look just like her daddy but I think she has her mama's personality.

Raiden is 24 ozs. today!

Hiruko is 23 ozs. today! He's going to be a big awesome boy just like daddy.

Shinda was also about 23 ozs. They don't hold still so it ain't easy takin' pictures or weighin' um'.
