Puppy Page #3!

Babies are 4 1/2 weeks old!

We're getting kitty socialized but Mama isn't too thrilled about it. :)

"Puddin", my 6 month old kitten, loves to smack at the pups and bite their tails. She'll get hers in about 2-3 weeks!

I've been still giving them Purina Puppy Chow slop but they'll eat it dry now.

I think Hiruko's new name is Stryker. Cool huh? Fits him!

Baku is still available. She's got a perfect little confirmation she's just tiny. :)

Baku is very independant. Hiruko rules the roost but when he's out of the whelping box he's a chicken.

Raiden loves his tummy rubbed and Shinda is definitely the smartest.

I'll de-worm them on Wednesday, at 5 weeks, and then again at 7...

Raiden winning the wrestling match. That's an upside down kitty under there. :)

I open the door to the bedroom and first out is Shinda. She marches right over to the dog food dishes in the kitchen. She's always cruising the perimeters and checkin' stuff out. She may be a hard one to keep in the back yard. :)

Then Hiruko struts out and heads for the living room like he owns the place. He's very sure of himself.

Raiden runs out and runs back in getting a little further from the door each time. Baku pretty much stayed by the door. Raiden is sooooooo funny. He hops and runs and spins and barks. He's just a really happy boy. It's hilarious! He eventually ventures further and further from the safety of the bedroom. So did Baku. She's the most cautious. Baku loves hugs the best.

The boys can get in and out of the whelping box but the girls can't yet. Baku's just too little. I take um' out and they can all get back in. There's a ledge on the outside. The boys actually go out to do their business and then climb back in. Today, when they were loose in the house, Raiden went back in the bedroom, hopped into the whelping box and started chowing on puppy slop.

They seem a little behind the other litters but I'm thinkin' that's cuz there's fewer of um'. Gotta' learn faster when you're competing with more siblings. Dunno'. Maybe they're just all lazy like their dad. :) I know Hiruko is.

They're all pretty special little people. I de-wormed um' on Wednesday and again in a couple weeks. They eat Purina Puppy Chow dry but they still prefer gamma' putting hot water and powdered milk in there. Big babies! I've got a water dish in the whelping box so I'm sure everybody's gettin' it. That's a mess. :)
